good point.
Though if on the OpenNIC client side app we could let people know there
is going to be scheduled maintenance for this DNS server and then
automagicly switch to the next fastest server for that user.

That might be a good thing. Fail-safe inelegance like that would make
the OpenNIC project more viable to the end user.
