Hi,

Effective immediately, ns1.il.us.dns.opennic.glue  is being shutdown.  

The VPS I've been running the T2 on is hosted by an extremely cheap OpenVZ provider.  iptables doesn't fully work and I can't do any packet snooping on my fake interface--basically, I can't block any DDOS attacks.  I don't expect my provider to fix those problems at the price I'm paying them.  With those things in mind, I think right now with this setup I may be doing more harm than good to the web as a whole, so I've chosen to shut it down.  

I've enjoyed the past couple of years I've been here.  Next time I find myself with some free time and money I may setup another T2 at some decent KVM VPS provider so I can be a good netizen while running the T2.
