Most of the information has been grouped together on http://wiki.opennicproject.org/Tier2Security
It seems to work... I had a single IP hitting me yesterday and completely saturating my connection, however due to the rate-limiting my dns servers were only getting queries at a rate of about 30kbps. Even if we can't stop the incoming traffic, we can try to prevent our servers from becoming part of an attack.

Apologies for the outage earlier of .OZ and the server in general, my
provider suspended services due to a complaint about my system being a
part of a DDoS.
I need to look through our notes here about rate limiting and other
bits of info about preventing these events so it doesn't happen again.
Martin.
