Your reductio ad absurdum is noted, but off the mark. The list isn't
"secret". Anyone can subscribe. We prefer that T1/T2 ops subscribe
to the list.

In fact, the T2 registration page [1] has a link to the mailing list
page [2] which, in turn, openly advertises the dns-ops mailing list.

Many here believe the wiki is optional reading. Actually, it is the
authoritative repository for all things related to OpenNIC, and T1/T2
operators are expected to at least be familiar with the T1/T2 info
that's in the wiki.
