I've never heard of either of those. I've found dovecot with postfix to
be great. There is an excellent guide here:
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Postfix_Tutorial#Introduction .
Granted it is for Arch Linux (Arch is awesome!), but you can apply the
same configuration for any linux that has a similar structure (most).
