Best thing for Americans to do at this stage is get in touch with their
representative in Congress
http://www.contactingthecongress.org and express their displeasure and make
sure your representative understands that you don't
support the Cyber Security bill. The so called "Cyber Security" bill is
designed to give government the authority to basically take over
the internet at will and direct your website to some government propaganda
page in the event of a "cyber attack". What they are
doing now is beta testing those mechanisms and procedures. Of course they
just go ahead and do it illegally without the bill because
they are a pack of criminals, but the Cyber Security bill will only make
things worse.
