At some point about 8 hours ago, the root zone was regenerated and sent out with ICANN information rather than the regular OpenNic root servers. I am still looking into *why* this happened, however some initial steps have been taken to prevent future occurrences, and I will be updating other scripts with this in mind.
In the meantime, for those running any tier of DNS server, please ensure that your root zone has a serial of 2011090401 or higher.
The T2 status page will obviously be showing a lot of errors until the new root zone gets propagated to all the servers. Note that this failure in the root zone only affected OpenNic sites - you should have had no problems still reaching ICANN domains.
