It's not so much a matter of making an effort to preserve the domain, but rather 
making sure we are being fair before it is eliminated.  You could host the TLD, 
I could host the TLD, that's not really the issue.  If you did host it, would 
you personally have any interest in running any domains in this zone?  Nobody 
else has expressed any interest in actually using it.
