I hardly assume that to reach 10 GB of data volumes with DNS alone you need
significantly more then 100 users, if typical 100 users generate a GB per
month this usually would be really much...

In typical access ISP networks today DNS generates less then a few percent or
even one percent - with a further shrinking tendence...

But it did not really makes sense to calcluate with "users" on DNS for
different reasons, you preferrably should calculate on requests per second or
similiar.

btw: You can configure your bind to limit access / request volumes by
dfferent parameters if you i.e. rely on a volume based accounted upstream and
monitor it while rising that limits.
