Fyi, bit off-topic, but I'm pretty sure those plugins are now redundant since wordpress has a multisite feature built into it.

That being said, the domain mapping feature is purely for those running a multisite blog (I.e. In the same fashion as wordpress.com). I do not believe it is intended for singular sites.

As previously suggested, you can only really have one domain per wp blog. Any others you point to it will simply be redirected, even if a corresponding vhost exists.

He means, that you usually can't reach one Wordpress-Blog with
different Domains, without Forwarding.
In example with independent vhosts.
You can configure only one domain in the config, that ist used for
redir and for all links.
Wordpress can't check with wich Domain you called it.

But I think this should work with this extention:
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/domain-mapping-system/

If this don't work try this one:
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wordpress-mu-domain-mapping/

You should map the domains both to the Wordpress-Basedir.
