If it's not related to network issues, some people didn't upload their
public keys
(http://www.edv-workshops.com/verschluesselung/186-pgp-schluessel-verwalten.html),
so you simply can't get them with the import-key-feature in
Thunderbird's OpenGPG. "ldap://certserver.pgp.com"; for example takes
quite a long time if the key couldn't be found there, right. The other
sources only take seconds, indeed with or without an available public key.

I also use "subkeys.pgp.net", altough the central key servers should
exchange the keys, so they could be retrieved from any of them after a
while.
