In the US, copyright is attributed to the creator of the work without
need for explicit copyright notice
[ http://www.copyright.gov/circs/circ03.pdf ]. The server in question
resides in AU, so I checked the copyright laws in Australia.
Australian law seems to be similar

fact, the Australian source states that most countries do not even
recognize copyright notices).

I think we're spinning our wheels here. Just don't worry about the
copyright notice.
