After two decades of unnafordable prices, unknow (changeable over
time) rules, extreme
centrality and great obscurity, capital prepares to launch thousands
of confussing and
conflictive tlds from their helicopters...

Well... I say...

OPENNIC FOREVER!!!

(But imho i think there must be rules more simple to register OpenNIC tlds
with 5 or more letters, perhaps only with a dns server, a registry
web, and no more
than 5 tlds per server... Two letters only for countries and ethnics, and
3 or 4 letters tlds by democratic voting... But it is only my opinion...)

If a tld operator has problems, this affect only to he and his "clients"...

The rule "first come, first owner" run from 1980...

And evidently, in conflict case, regular tribunals could resolve...

And allways anybody can add a 2 digit to "his" tld... (.com2 for example)
preserving second level registered domains...

After all, domain names are only aliases for ip numbers, and the pourpose
of dns system IS ONLY TO SIMPLIFY HUMANS TO FIND IP NUMBERS...

PD:

25^2 = 625 tlds of two letters (only)
25^3 = 15625 tlds of three letters (only)
25^4 = 390625 tlds of four letters (only?)
25^5 = 9 millions
25^6 = 225 MILLIONS...

Only one latin letter tld? ... DENIED BY HUMAN RACE!!!

(One klingom letter could be studied...)

"... And twenty years after dot com bubble, then come the dot tld bubble..."
