I like encapsulation and layering; both techniques are easy to
understand. DNSCrypt, like most modern protocols, packages as much as
possible into a solution in the hopes that everyone, everywhere, will
use it. That makes them neither easy to understand nor fun to tinker
with (in my opinion.)
