I think a verification would be a great idea. Well, what would happen is we would have a team of people who would go around checking every domain and either reporting it as good or bad. It would be kind of like a .us domain, when it asks if you are a citizen, etc. I also noticed someone said it would bring ICANN problems...I lost that email though...so I don't know what it said exactly. There is also another person trying to get a .forum domain...but I think they have been trying for a while.

I like the idea of a TLD geared towards a community board or forum but I think some sort of "verification" or set of additional requirements should be set-out for those who wish to register a domain under the tld  as to prevent spam and tons of random names... unless there was some review or regulation for each domain, it could get messy

Just my view, though.
