Philip: Im not suffering it.
I only have a zombie asking all the time for isc.org, and he/she is
not getting any answer.
To avoid ddos i use this homemade filter in c (based on tcpdump and iptables):
http://sluc.info/prog/filtro53.c
It is fast and furious, using little CPU time, and in the last eight months
it avoided me a lot of attacks...
