The OSS zone has finished processing domain expirations.  If you have 
any domains registered in either OSS or Parody, and you did not receive 
email notifications about them, please contact my with your username (go 
to http://www.opennicproject.org/members/ if you need to register) and 
the domains you wish to verify or update, and I will provide you with 
the information for renewal.

Any domains which do not get renewed in the next four weeks will be 
deleted!  Moving forward, all domains will need to be renewed once per 
year to show that owners still have an interest in them.  There are far 
too many registered domains where the owners never finished setting up 
proper records, and in many cases people simply registered new domains 
and then left OpenNic.

Also of note (and because of the previous)... when you register a new 
domain, you will receive a renewal notice within two days.  New domains 
are only registered for 28 days initially, to ensure the user actually 
comes back.  When you sign back in to renew, it will then register your 
domain for another year.
