I think it may have partially been my fault, since I posted the activation request to the seemingly inactive (?) dns-operations list, rather than the discuss list. I believe server approval is a manual process, so I think my post didn’t reach the right person/people.

I think dns-operations is the right list to announce new servers, although the discuss list is the most active and dns-operations is very, very quiet.

Could someone please explain the difficulty Rouben is having getting his DNS Server approved, or why its being taken down?
I am developing an extensive facilities and business plan which will revolve around hosting a new set of OpenNIC DNS servers and new domain approvals.
I intend to bring substantial new resources, activity and services into the OpenNIC arena.
Is there any problem with the organization that I should be aware of before proceeding?

I have just begun switching nine computers over to using OpenNIC servers for their own domain resolution.  So far, everything has worked perfectly.  More people need to know that there is an alternative to connecting through the DNS facilities of Google and other corporate 'Techlords of the Deep State'.

I marked this server for deletion. I will be shutting it down shortly. Since it was never approved, I assume it had no users (logs also showed no users).

The server has been up since fall and is passing the new version of the test:
Please approve.
