Good to get your input and potential offer, Zach. I'd guess that most
of us are happy to get exposure for the project and leery to be any
talking head for the community.

It appears that we may have an
opportunity for a multi-pronged approach. That's assuming the guy
follows up. Although from what I know about him, he seems motivated to
do so.

This is the most recent response I received from him:

"Awesome,
this is great to hear - thank y'all for sharing with us. I've been
reworking the blog and have a schedule for videos/articles in the
upcoming weeks. I think we could do a hybrid approach, I'll send over
some general questions next week to fill in my understanding of OpenNIC
and also some questions from a layman's perspective. We'll publish this
and share it with the larger community, ideally people should be able
to come away from the article understanding why alternative DNS is
important, how it works, and being walked through how to get setup on
OpenNIC or at least the resources to pursue it themselves.

Then if we wanted to get together for a recorded discussion I could
send over another set of more subjective questions that your group can
preview and elect a representative to speak on. I think we're all
interested in hearing whether the internet is truly in danger of being
taken away from us, from people who understand the internet better than
ourselves.

Thanks again!"

As I mentioned earlier, the guy is the tech coordinator for the Freedom
Cell movement. His name is Ramiro Romani. His blog is here:

https://neonetwork.in/

And the following was his session contribution at last month's "Greater
Reset" conference:

I'll keep everyone posted if this moves forward.

Cheers,

Kevin
