At least it generates a very interesting conversation. After all, we
all do hate spam but by what authority is spam flagged? Of course lots
of services do spam lots of people but what happens with businesses
that accidentally get listed and then their removal is an extra
painful process that takes forever? I think this is the pain point
most people have with Spamhaus and the like.
So to extend the problem to OpenNIC, by who's authority and for what
reason does something get added to a spam list? Who originally
determined that? Not that I think this product is bad but it seems
sort of like reinstalling the same mechanism that plagues the internet
dominated by monopolies like ICANN, Spamhaus, VeriSign etc.
Just my opinion, though! :)
