Ducttape has always logged the channel.  Logs from the previous week can be viewed at http://sourpuss.net/logs/freenode/opennic/
I also have archives going back to 2007.

Oops... looks like the web page with the logs hasn't been updated in awhile.  I'll get that fixed today and make sure they start getting regularly updated again.
