I believe you're right, but not in this instance. This discussion has
come forward due to non-communication of the TLD admin. The same
happened with .eco......

If the TLD was unused, but the admin was in communication with us it
would be a different story that suits you're comments above.

It is bad form for OpenNIC to have a TLD around that does not;

- confirm to OpenNIC standards
- keep an eye on the mailing list and communicate

So keeping the above in consideration, I believe this assists with our
credibility by keeping non-compliant TLDs off our name space.

The admin does have 10 more days to come forward and put this to rest,
it's in their court to read the emails and keep informed.
