I would prefer that ALL domains are included. BUT you can opt-out of most information (name and email mainly) but it SHOULD still include that it is registered, and perhaps when.

Jamyn made a good point to me about seeing information in the whois system, such as whether a domain is active, date of modification and what nameservers it is currently using.

However, I think we should only provide the absolute minimum required information eg: no address, phone, fax or anything like that. I don't like the current mainstream whois because of that information being out there.

So, do you mean having no external record of a domain at all, or just being cautious for privacy's sake (which I fully support!) about what we show?
