The public calling-out is intended to get him to stop. Responding 
privately over and over again does nothing but reinforce the behavior. I 
do the same thing in IRC when someone PMs me for no reason- difference 
is, there people stop. So, if I'm annoying you, I suggest you take it up 
with the non-contributory attempted extortionist that doesn't know what 
website he had to sign up at to get on this mailing list.
