At the risk of dragging this off topic thread on for longer, I would say
that's ridiculous!

It's incorrect to say 'everyone' as that's plainly not the case, if only
because 'I' can see virtue in it and I know plenty of others that feel
the same.

I take your point and in some ways it may be better, but the rich web
that we experience today is down to innovations like video in web pages.

I for one love to watch a news video rather than read the blurb.
