I vote no.
I have a feeling that there is too much
emphasis on control in the thinking that
has gone into this which seems contrary to
the ideals that I think are appropriate.
This is OpenNIC, not ICANN. :)
Why charge money for one and two letter
domains? That makes no more sense than
charging extra for 4 letter domains.
Why remove a domain after only two weeks
of not being resolvable? Yes, how nice to
play police on the internet.
Of course some basic rules should be
implemented, but I would never associate
myself with the philosophy that seems to
be espoused here.
If the applicant can demonstrate some
understanding of what it means to be open
and free then I might change my mind.
