Actually we have been working with Tyler for quite a while now and thus would support him operating a Tier 1.
He is running a very reliable anycast DNS network for quite a while now (we haven't seen a downtime since we started using it). Also he knows a lot about networking and DNS so I believe that he would be able to provide a reliable Tier 1 DNS network.

Hi all,
I have been running my own anycast DNS network for a bit over a year now. In
additional to that, with unicast DNS services for several years prior. I have
configured a tier 1 server, based on information from the wiki, and have
implemented it into my global anycast network for the past several weeks. I
understand the purpose of the project is to decentralize the control one has
over that network, and I believe that will still be met with the other public
Tier 1 servers.
I would like to know and work out the next steps of getting to that level
within this project.
Thanks,
Tyler
