Why not use the server list for this? Couldn't a state 'phaseout' be
added that automatically does the rest? Like removing the listings from
the corresponding lists, adding a note to the website, sending an email
to this and the operators list? (Same for IP changes?)

I think most operators will support a new platform if it adds value and
does not disturb efficient workflows some of 'us' operators have.
