I hope I don't regret this...
Don't make me regret this...
I might regret this...
Still working on routing, may look at Bird rather than Quagga. Have a
new vpn set up for FRX supernodes, will mention this later. Also
finding some interesting things regarding SDN, NFV, git (and more) on
the (private) cloud, IPFS...
Determining some things regarding supernodes and functions. Will
likely have recommendations / guidelines for supernodes, although not
all functions would ever be required (think original ISP service
offerings). Things like mail, ftp, dns, ...
Speaking of NNTP...
So I've set up an orginal, distributed, p2p social network node called
(private) USENET (ie. not relaying standard usenet). Point your client
to home.frx. Should find 3 frx.* groups.
For those that aren't using the FRX DNS, you can use the following IP
as host -> 24.76.93.80

that. Many people don't want to GO to their information, they want it
PUSHED to them. That's what TV was for. The internet was / is the
library that you have to go to, and look for stuff... (gopher and
Scrapy on its way). I argue it's the same thing as all the new
languages when C ...
Sure, new shiny tech. It's on it's way and can layer on top, of
course. But for now, core functions are most important. Pencils and
paper and all that.
Cheers,
Kevin
ps: I'm sure I won't regret this... :D
