Since Highschool i've been interested in Micronations and the quasi legal system they exist in. I think they are a unique and interesting project for anyone to undertake

WOW, thats great! I am interested in them as well. 20 years ago I was participating one, for 9 years I am a citizen of another one, since last year I try to develop yet another one.

Originally
the .micro TLD was registered on openNIC for use by micronations however the project was abandoned around 2014, I want to revive it for this purpose.

This might be interesting, however the number of people interested both in non-icann domains and micronations might be, nomen omen, microscopic.

I've discussed my plans with several medium sized Micronations and the committee for Microcon, they seem intrigued and enthusiastic about it. I doubt any will actively use the openNIC service as their primary personal (technically state) DNS service however they like the purpose and mission behind the project.

Are they aware of limited access to websites behind openNIC domains? Are you sure they unterstand this is not a clearnet? Do they know that they might have to frequently inform their users about the necessity of making some settings to get the access to openNIC domains? Do they, and you, understand, that a number of users won’t make any effort to do anything in this matter?

I wanted to get the openNIC communities
view on my project though and if people would support my TLD proposal once done.

I always support the idea of democtatic Internet. I advocate among others for openNIC. The results are far from satisfying. I know about only 2 people who were interested, but imo it was only an oddity for them and they do not use it at all.
