Your server needs to resolve opennic domains including the root zone, otherwise it's not really fully operational. I see Renard already responded with info on how you can get BIND fixed, but it doesn't look like you have made those changes yet. Let me know when you get it updated and I can approve your server.
Also in case you had any concerns... The opennic root zone ALSO resolves all ICANN zones, plus other networks that opennic peers with, so you won't lose access to anything by making this change. Our root zone gets updated once per hour to check for any new TLDs on each network.

Hello everyone,
I am a hobbyist with an AS and have 256 v4 and 638 septillion v6 addresses
over 5 presences. But I am quite clueless here.
I am looking to integrate into this phenomenal project and community. So
friends, I have setup a Tier 2 server that is waiting for approval by admins.
Please take your time. No rush.
Unfortunately SOA for . does not return OpenNIC because I don't know how —
but it does work regardless! It is anycast with London, Ashburn, Sydney,
Toronto, Zurich.
Can exceptions be granted for this type of DNS situation?
Best wishes,
