I've been noticing that on a few servers. If you hover over the yellow spots, you'll notice that the failures are always for different zones. This tells me that it is more likely a timeout problem. Testing is done with 'dig', and each test times out after 10 seconds, but retries 3 times to get an answer. This should be plenty of time if the server is responding reliably. Since the problem is only on the IPv6 side, it could indicate that your server host does not provide a very good IPv6 connection.

I'm sorry I don't have any simple answers to this problem. Obviously the server itself is responding well, as seen in the status for ns6.fr, but it bogs down when sent a lot of queries on IPv6.

These two are the same interface card so can anyone advise as to why
the Tier-2 status monitor is showing the IPv6 as intermittent failure
yet the IPv4 is not? I'm not detecting anything my end. After some
initial (at the time of my original mail) reboot shenanigans to ensure
things would come back up in case of disaster the interface has been
up.

Is there anything I can check for or do? The US box I posted is
showing as A-OK and they have duplicate configurations so I'm a bit
foxed.

Any help welcome.
