That is only true IF they TLD operator is planning on reverting their
serial to an earlier number. Under most circumstances, I would think a
1-week expire would be about typical.

By the way, the specific reason why the status page marked all the
servers as failing the oz zone was actually a combination of issues...
First, the change in serials, preventing everyone from immediately
getting the newest zone file. And second, because in that change he
also updates the SOA information at my request, and since nobody had the
new zone, their SOA did not match the master SOA. (The test program
assumes that if your SOA information does not match, then you must not
be carrying the correct zone - generally a bad SOA indicates that the
server is trying to resolve the TLD through ICANN rather than opennic.)
