Its a very convoluted way of doing it in my opinion. It might be better to
put bind in front of pdns and then have it forward queries for authoritative
domains to pdns.

Alternatively you could dispense with bind altogether and use the pdns
recursor as the t2. Then you can decide to have the auth server in front or
behind, whichever suits.

I've been over the situation before with the guys on the pdns mailing list
and there is no easy way to use opennic with pdns, but there are methods.

Do I need to initiate zone transfers or something to get local copies of
all the dns records ?
