Title: New gTLD Customer Service Case

Hello everyone,

 

Just wanted to let you all know that I’ve made an inquiry to ICANN regarding the new gTLDs.

The answer we got was… less than satisfactory.

 

And I never received a reply to my follow up.

 

Anyone have any recommendations on how to proceed?

Anyone reckon we should ask EFF for help?

Quickly looking over the list published in
/newgtlds.icann.org/en/program-status/application-results/strings-120
0utc-13jun12-en?tag=mncol;txt>
http://newgtlds.icann.org/en/program-status/application-results/strings-1200
utc-13jun12-en?tag=mncol;txt I can spot applications for two TLDs which have
already been operated for a long time by the OpenNIC project.

.free and .ing



If these gTLDs were to be incorporated into ICANN you would be creating a
conflict which would mean extra work and implications (at least on one of
the sides).



So we are wondering, what is your stance regarding the collisions?
