I think you should ask them again, and if that doesn't work, we all should ask them at roughly the same time. I see no reason to involve EFF in it unless you get a "screw you" response, at least at this point.

Quickly looking over the list published in

utc-13jun12-en?tag=mncol;txt I can spot applications for two TLDs which have
already been operated for a long time by the OpenNIC project.

.free and .ing



If these gTLDs were to be incorporated into ICANN you would be creating a
conflict which would mean extra work and implications (at least on one of
the sides).



So we are wondering, what is your stance regarding the collisions?
