Hello all,

I have recently discovered OpenNIC and have been following the
discussions on the mailing list.  I find the project very interesting;
I decided to write an article about it on my website.

The current OpenNIC search engines seem to either not work, or contain
99% dead links. I decided to have a go at creating my own search
engine: http://seek.geek (also available at
http://opennic.mcalinden.me.uk on the ICANN root).

I have indexed all the OpenNIC websites that I can find, and searching
seems to work OK (despite there being a limited selection of links
available).  If it is used sufficiently, I may extend its
functionality and add other services over time. I was thinking about
offering email services on OpenNIC domains, but that may be a little
out of my depth.

I would really appreciate it if anyone would check out the article and
search engine, and give me some feedback. If you have any URLs
(OpenNIC TLDs, of course) that you would like to be indexed, you can
log in and submit them. Alternatively, you could just email me
separately (calum AT mcalinden.me.uk)
