Well, it tries to be strict too. For example, if a site has no title tag at
all, the spider rejects it and wont index it. This has happened a few times.

My search engine has a pretty good API as well. For instance, you can
integrate it into your own pages quite easily. Certain parameters passed to
it will disable the search box so a user cannot do a different search than
the one they already did, or one you have directed them to. Another one
disables the automatic linking of single words and terms to Wikipedia and an
online dictionary.

Work in progress parameters include being able to specify how many results
per page are listed, and being able to change the search results background
colour and text colour, to better integrate into existing colour schemes.
This works well if you were to link to a search results page through an
iframe, for example.

Word suggestion ("Did you mean xxxxx?") is a nice feature which I don't have
yet but that seek.geek does pretty well.
