Hi,

Does anyone know if it is possible to CNAME the www subdomain on
http://reg.for.free? It seems to work with any subdomain other than
www, and works fine with A records too. For some reason, when trying
to CNAME 'www' I get a message saying 'Duplicate Name!'. When trying
to change DNS servers, I get a message: "The nameserver could not be
added. Most likely, it is because it already exists." which doesn't
seem to make much sense IMO.

I have contacted "julian AT jdcomputers.com.au" a while ago about the
issue, but considering http://jdcomputers.com.au/ times out, I wasn't
sure if he received this or not.

These particular issues make hosting a website on a platform where you
don't have control over IPs (Heroku, AWS Load balancer etc) pretty
much impossible, so I think they need to be addressed in order to
encourage more OpenNIC domain use.

Thanks in advance.
