I didn't insult anyone. Everything I've stated is a fact.

That's not related at all to what I'm talking about. You don't need to enter a name into a registrar to query it - even failed queries will appear in logs. I'm talking about people with badly configured networks querying for names like "laptop01.corporatelan.local", something your logs will happily leak to whatever chucklefuck wants to abuse this information in ways we may not be aware of.

This happens more often than you think.

Your DNS servers resolve them into ips...
