This is a primary concern of mine. I've been actually using ICANN versions of some OpenNIC websites (talkdotgeek.com instead of talk.geek, for example) simply because of HTTPS implementation on one and not the other.

Hopefully these problems can be solved with a central CA :)

I and several unspoken others would rather discuss the CA/SSL than the age inquisition. I for one fear credentials being passed via OpenNIC servers in the clear.

Thanks for your understanding ! :)

"Clearly" is implied because of his lack of response to the question. I'm sorry that you don't understand English colloquialisms. I'll pause for a moment so you can lookup the definition of that word.

>>As for the question the fact that John Hebbs  is

Who is "John Hebbs" ? Again your inability to understand even basic Engish names is obvious. J-O-N H-E-B-B... you could have even copy and pasted it and been more right than you were.

>>"Hebbs Networks"

So you google'd my cell phone number that is in my email signature? And you found what? A company that hasn't existed in more than 5 years? If you really want to dig up something on me, then please try harder. I'll provide it all for here if you'd like. Again, you're an "internet tough guy" hiding behind your keyboard so you would never share anything personal. You wouldn't want us to find out that you're actually a 12-year-old child.

>>And yes, I am an adult or of age. 48 at this moment.

Please return here with two forms of government-issued identification to verify this, otherwise I'm just going to assume it's another lie.

---

As for my business. It's called Interfor Networks. We're located at 1024 Grafton Road Morgantown WV 26508. We have our own datacenter at 5000 Greenbag Road, Suite M7, Morgantown WV 26501. Please feel free to stop by anytime (during regular business hours) or at at least send us a Christmas card! I'd be happy to add you to the list at our front desk if you want to take a tour of our datacenter. Just let me know a good name to list for you (you'll of course need to show ID to verify it's you).

My personal cell phone number is 304-680-6777, as already shared in my signature. Again, please feel free to call anytime. My name (we've been over this) is Jon Hebb. I welcome any & all calls from any like-minded individuals seeking IT advice or help.

In the rare event that I don't answer my cell phone, you can also call me directly 304-212-0701 (desk) or you can call our main number, toll-free, 1-844-WV-CALLS, ext 701.

If you need a copy of business license to verify any of this, feel free to visit the West Virginia (that's a state in the United States) Secretary of State and they can provide it to you. You can even get a certified copy for about $10 I believe!

I'm not sure what your beef with me is, but as others have said, it'd be nice if you'd take a step back and look at your maturity through all of this. You've done nothing but get on everyone's nerves today... so much that you're being mocked on other mediums.

I hope your please with the outcome of your argument.

Have a wonderful day!

As for the question the fact that John Hebbs  is hostile towards it brings into question John Hebbs and consequently Hebbs Networks abilities concerning IT. In fact so much so that John Hebbs and consequently Hebb Networks can not only not be relied in for security or privacy Hebb Networks would be considered and now is considered rogue and hostile towards users' security and privacy
as these mailing lists are public.

And yes, I am an adult or of age. 48 at this moment.
As for contributions I have participated in discussions quite extensively here and clarified fud concerning RFCs as well as helped clarify issues for liberland's TLD application. I have also alerted and advised to both the fraud of CA certificates and their deterrence from secure communications and trust.
You can look over the archives.
As for you communicating with me any further M.Hebbs I would suggest you don't.

You repetitively asking Jonah if he is an adult or a minor is bullying. He clearly does not want to answer that question yet you keep asking. The same question was asked of you and you accused me of bullying you - that in itself is a bullying technique.

If you can't take the heat, stay out of the kitchen.

well,  again, you will have to get out of your own imagination and denonstrate clearly where i've "bullied" as you say anyone.
i on the other hand can use the very same mailing list to demonstrate clearly where jonah has been insulting (and to which i dis not reply) , where another member was hostile and where you have been hostile.

as for age wether you or anyone else likes it or not it makes a differnce.
deal with it

Do you know how to type? They taught me how to do that starting in the 5th Grade.

Go back through the mailing list and count the number of times I've posted on the mailing list. I am a member of no "cliques" here.

For some reason you decided to start bullying Jonah... whom of which I can't ever recall even having a direct conversation with.

Since you want to be an "Internet tough guy" and fill my mailbox with nonsensical bullshit, I've just returned the favor.

This is a democracy. That's already been pointed out. If you don't agree with .o, why did you vote "yes" for it? If you don't agree with Jonah, why did you give him your support previously?

Everyone has a right to an opinion and everyone here gets a vote. There's no cost of membership here but there is agree cost to maintain. You should appreciate it more.

Quit being a dick. Be conducive to the democratic process we use or bug off. You'd definitely be doing me a favor.

Have a lovely day.

What i see are aome mwbers who have a bog isaue qith amyone who asserts tjemselves here and doesnt allow themselves ro be ibtimidated ot bullied by clics that have ibvuosuly formed here.

I asked at least two legitimate questions
one was if opennic was taken over.
to that question i was met with a hostile response.
the other was directrd to jonah asking if je was of age.
3 other members have since been overrtly hostile while jonah has not helped any efforts to unsubscribe but instead has been hostile : " i am concerned for you..."

Now i dont presume you run opennic nor that i have to answer to you nor.do.you any favora

if yiu camt habdle that maybe you ahould.leave opennic or at least stop pretending  to offer ant form of democracy, freedom or goodness of any kind.

Are you an adult or a minor? Because you sure have been acting like a child yesterday and today.

I thought you unsubscribed? Or at least you couldn't figure it out.

Please move on. If you aren't going to contribute anything to this conversation, then just leave. Clearly you have the maturity and mental capacity of a child and apparently that matters to you. So please do me a favor... and move on.

Please note, that it is quite impolite to ask that, especially if you don't explain why it is important for you to know that...

Hopefully you figured out out,

Yes, that would be a perfect example, because it's a system that only the TLD operator can access for his (your) domains ;) Therefore you should get an Intermediate CA and use your LDAP system to issue certificates to every domain holder!

Although for real, the LDAP system is neat and it would make verifications and a unified login much easier across OpenNIC. If everyone used it, that is.

You mean like the LDAP storage servers which contain all the info for
