Asking for help and solid advise not related to DNS.  but manage switching.

I bought a manageable d-link switch, DGS-1210-20, it works fine with default settings, but I was wondering, since  I'm using ADSL2, is there any setting you know you could recommend me.

One of my problematic discoveries was the adsl router issue by the ISP, when I change the DHSP to be manage ONLY by my switch it froze, it does nothing. I did Discover because my ISP router firmware is limited and only uses DHSP hosting only.  Di I have  to purchase a fully adsl router with all available settings , it will me and not the ISP.

Yes I am with a fix IP. The ISP refuses to help or advise.
