I like the idea of the project, but how does having
an OpenNIC TLD relate to monetary democracy?

Do you have some actual use for an OpenNIC TLD?

Without even a mention of actual people making
actual web sites or using DNS for other technical
purposes it just sounds to me like this TLD is
just part of some branding dreams.
