Fusl has been kind enough to reupload a fork to github, https://github.com/DNSCrypt/dnscrypt-proxy

It’s now redirecting to dnsprivacy.org... seems like a poorly handled transition to me, as the new site is similar in nature.

All in all DNScrypt should really part of the base DNS protocol rather than a kludgy hack. It’s only slightly better than stunnel if you ask me, in that at least it’s not persistent. Adding TLS to existing DNS protocol is the proper way to do it.

Fossies has a mirror of the latest linux source, but I can't find any verification/signature files to go with it, https://fossies.org/linux/misc/dns/dnscrypt-proxy-1.9.5.tar.gz/

I've seen this happen when someone sells intellectual property.  The
source is taken down by the original project owner.

You might want to check github to see if anyone had cloned the project.
It might eventually be further developed as a fork, depending on what
the license was.
