I'm still here.

I don't get very involved with OpenNIC discussion anymore because of 
harassment from three trolls on this list last fall, which left me home at my 
PC constantly stressed out waiting to defend myself against the next attack 
email (which the trolls often wrote in foreign languages to taunt me).

My guess is that most hope for discussion on this list ended last fall when 
people decided it was better to avoid inciting these three trolls rather than 
do anything useful with OpenNIC. I don't even use OpenNIC servers anymore 
except when I'm with my phone on public wifi, hoping tier 2 operators are 
being honest with their privacy policies. Otherwise I just use 
Unbound+Namecoin on a LAN with forwarders to the different OpenNIC TLDs set 
up.
