I think given that we're trying to appeal to the masses/non techies, who
probably didn't even know about D.N.S. servers until they read something on
the 'net like the Torrentfreak post yesterday will, if they do change to
OpenNIC just 'set and forget', I
don't think they will keep an eye on whether the OpenNIC servers they
utilize are working or not and I don't think they should or it's reasonable
to expect them to. The system needs to 'just work', at least as
best it can.
