Hello all!

I represent a small, free DNS service, called BlockAid.

We believe in an open internet, and our aim is to provide censorship free DNS
to anyone who wants it. We began in response to the seizure of domains by the
US government through their puppets, ICANN and Verisign. In our attempts to
rectify these problems, we have gone further than most and over the past year
have handed back control of seized domains to their original owners. At the
beginning of 2012 we also updated our system so we can technically detect
which domains have been seized and respond appropriately.

Our interest in OpenNic was sparked a long time ago when there were the
rumours of a new p2p TLD being created. It appears to me that progress on that
front has somewhat stalled, which is a shame. However, our interest in OpenNic
has remained nonetheless.

My main reason for emailing the list is to enquire about the possibility of
our servers slaving the OpenNic TLD's. Is this allowed (I have looked through
the wiki and can't find a reason it wouldn't be) and if so, how would we go
about implementing it?

Should you want to check us out, our website is http://www.blockaid.me. I
would also be happy to answer any questions people have.

If this is the wrong place to bring this up, I apologise. I was informed this
would be the most suitable place to raise this type of question.

Regards

BlockAid
