If by we you mean the copyright holders, yes.  The copyright holder can do whatever he wants with his copyrighted content.

Oh stop.  If we put every decision to a vote nothing would get done.
This doesn't directly affect how OpenNIC operates, or what OpenNIC is
about.  Just get over it.

If we disregard the concerns regarding democracy and voting for just a moment and stop to think about the other things, how does this affect content already published?
Can we really re-license it in this sense without breaking the original license? (I'm not well versed in CC)
