And yet in your very first comment in this thread:

It looks to me like you threw the opening punch, criticizing Travis for spending his time on other projects. The way I read this, you immediately jumped to your own conclusion rather that giving the benefit of the doubt.

How many times have you been given the same answer to this question? If you want up-to-the-minute news on what's happening, chat with us in the IRC channel. That has always been where we get real-time work accomplished, while the mailing lists have been used for more drawn-out discussions that take place over days, or where proposals and announcements are made. If you don't like the format of IRC, don't criticize someone for not working on the problem in the same breath that you ask if any work is being done. Personally I would prefer having a web forum instead of a mailing list, but email and IRC are the tools being used, and we must live with it until those tools are changed.

Shame on you! You are in the IRC chat every day. You know first-hand exactly what the status of the new code is and why it hasn't gone live yet. But here you sound like you would prefer we had opened up the registrations on Monday, knowing full-well that I completely gutted and rebuilt the structure of the LDAP records on Tuesday, which forced a complete deletion and reloading of all the domains that were stored in the database.

Maybe I should just step away from the computer and ignore finalizing the code for a week on the principle that this whole discussion has aggravated me too much to do a proper job of validating that the code works?
