I agree on the concern around a separate management entity involved with the
TLD. It appears they're trying to have the main domain names (2nd level) to
promote their own services, with domain registrations being secondary. If
they were two separate things (one group for the TLD, one group that has to
register domains like anyone else that provides services) I would be okay
with it.
As is, I vote no.
